FREE CLASSES FOR
YOUTHS & SENIORS

Our contributions to local communities:

Free classes
& camps

For Seniors who are often deprived of family visits and internet connection, our volunteers have come up with ideas to arouse their interests. Ranging from yoga to cooking or crafting, our participants have recorded diverse classes for TV, aired on KTMV since December 2020. The enthusiastic thank yous we have received are the living proof that these services are much needed and very welcome. Congratulations to our volunteers for the many hours they spend on helping others!

Community engagement is the core of our values. The pandemic in early March 2020, has encouraged us to reinforce our help to various communities, and deliver reliable tools to those who need them the most. Our projects' approach is to build networks, facilitate initiatives taken by our volunteers, and promote educational programs that will benefit the most vulnerable ones in our communities. Protect the Children is supporting teenagers and adults willing to offer their time to help isolated children and seniors. By creating a variety of ways to educate and entertain, our volunteers have brought joy and pride, generated new and deepened existing interests.

For elementary school kids, our young adults have initiated both group and individual classes, to teach French, coding and art. These sessions happen online or in-person. Virtual classes follow a one-on-one format or are based on group sessions. The latter ones are offered through the School Districts or Recreation Departments of different cities in the Bay Area. The in-person sessions happen within the safe environment of private backyards, while social distancing and wearing masks or during camps.
