ABOUT
Protect the Children

MISSION & HISTORY

Protect the Children Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in California in 2015, focusing on care and education for children of all races, genders, and religions.

It was initially created to contribute to the education of 50 children at Aishworya, an orphanage in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. Our relationship with this organization started in 2008 and materialized in 2015 when Protect the Children Inc. was created.

Protect the Children, however, goes beyond helping one single organization. Our goal is to help children achieve a good life by giving them access to care and quality education. Various partnerships over the past years have generated, funded, and delivered educational projects to underserved children, wherever they are located.

With the Covid-19 pandemic, local needs emerged and we opened our horizons, opting to assist the most vulnerable populations at the moment of children and seniors. Due to the shelter in place orders in March 2020 in various areas and the persistence of the pandemic, children and seniors have suffered from a lack of social interactions, and thus often experienced loneliness coupled with depression. To help combat this issue, our volunteers have teamed up with new organizations and set up various projects.
